Elfman (1)

En una entrevista a American Film (febrer 1991), el compositor Danny Elfman diu:
Any movie recorded before the '60s - any great old movie - the dialogue and the music is everything. I really hate sound effects. I'm sorry. I'm totally old-fashioned in my approach to music. I love the way they used to make films. The dialogue, the picture, gave you what was happening; the music gave you the emotion and what the characters were thinking. Now, in most movies, orchestral music is very thin, it sounds shrill.
I really hate sound effects... I really hate sound effects... I really hate sound effects... Tenim un petit punt de desacord, sense importància.
